How to cook delicious and rejuvenating chicken soup?
Cooking is my another hubby, so here is what I call medinice soup.
This soup proves to be relaxing and has a medicinal value due to some of its ingredients, ginger and lemon grass, onion and garlic. Lemon grass is known to help reduce blood pressure, onion garlic and ginger proves to be of help in increasing immune system.
And it’s not difficult to prepare or cook. Serves 2 person.
INGREDIENTS:½ Kilogram fresh chicken (with bones).
3 cloves of garlic
1 large size red onion
2 cloves of ginger (about the size of ping-pong ball)
Salt to taste
3 spoon full of corn oil
Half teaspoon of ground black pepper
2 medium fresh corns (still in hub)
Fresh spinach can be added 1 minute before stopping the fire.
1 liter of water
One quarter teaspoon of msg (if you prefer)
Preparation;
Wash and cut chicken into bite size, sprinkler salt to taste, set aside.
Slice ginger into thin size about 1 mm
Cut onion into thin pieces
Crash and cut garlic into fine pieces
Spinach you can put as it is, just wash thoroughly.
At medium heat, heat a cooking pot with cover, then put oil, test the oil by drop of water if it sizzle its ready. Cook garlic until light brown (some says golden brown). Add ginger, after 4 minutes; add onion, regularly mixing it not to burn it. When onion is 60 percent cooked, add chicken and black pepper then mixing it every 3 minutes, after 9 minutes, let it simmer until the meat is 80 percent cooked. Add water and the corn; let it simmer again until corn is cooked. Check the taste, if it suits you, add salt or pepper as desired. Add the spinach 1 minute or just before stopping the heat/fire.
I like to match this soup with french baguette bread or rice!
Hope you like it!
